There are some days I am proud to be an Oklahoman, I am proud that there are kind people who genuinely care about you and your well being. Many people in Oklahoma are willing to go out of their way to help a stranger. There are days where I am so ashamed to be from Oklahoma, I want to pack up my car and move to another state, region, country, etc. Yesterday was one of those days, except I am a registered Democrat and I did not and will not vote for Mary Fallin. I did actually vote for former State Senator Mike Morgan (Pro Tempore.) The reason he isn't a senator anymore, is that he timed out.
What? Who tries to kick the opponent and it's supportors out of the the debate? Who does that? There are plenty of people in the world, especially in Oklahoma who do not agree with what I have to say, but I am not going to just around saying, you cannot be here, I refuse to say anything until you leave and take all of your little friends with you. One of my best friends is conservative and her husband once told me it was his life missions to make me a member of the GOP. We have now reached an understanding that we don't really discuss politics, but we do accept each other's beliefs.

Patriotic Pinko

Pinko is a derogatory term for a person regarded as sympathetic to communism, though not necessarily a Communist Party member. Many people believe that if you are liberal, you are not patriotic. I am pretty liberal, especially for Oklahoma. I love my country, my rights, my freedoms, my right to voice opinions and beliefs. This blog will hopefully show that just, because you are not a gun toting conservative who is willing to go to all lengths to protect the USA, you can still be patriotic and want to preserve the rights we have as Americans, the rights that ALL humans in the United States should have.
